When I look upon the tombs of the great

Emotion of every type dies in me

I read the epitaphs on the beautiful graves

And all inordinate desires vanish whatever it be

I see grief of my parents on a tomb stone

And my heart melts with compassion and tears flow

When I see the tombs of own parents

I realize the vanity of grief for those whom we have to soon follow

I see kings lying next to those who deposed them

With rivals lying in earth side by side

The barrier of disputes, contests which divide the world

Make me sad for the factions and debates of mankind
