ETERNAL RACE
ETERNAL RACE
Prof Dr Colonel (retired) K Prabhakar Rao
High up in the sky stars twinkle
Hidden in the tress birds quackle
And feeble light cast fading shadows
As light breeze flows through the meadows
The clouds gathered in the darknes stage by stage
As sickness swarms every one in old age
The days pass in futility into oblivion
Adding to the passed years into many billions
Sun and moon eternally change their sites
The acts are eternal as those flying kites
The planets are on a continuous unknown voyage in sky
And the meteors race past soaring as birds fly
Rivers flowing down the land reach finally the seas
Angry volcanoes spit fire and disturb peace
Science has grown by leaps and bounds
Yet the man has remained spiritually unfound

Missing Know-Why
Dr. Rao,
This is a keen observation. Probably we're very little more advanced that our ancestors of millennia past. With all of our scientific knowledge and technological advancement, we have conquered know-about, and even know-how, but forfeited know-why in the race.
As the saying goes: the more things change, the more they stay the same.
