Home from Iraq
Hello all, I just wanted to say that I am home from Iraq and thank you all for your support and prayers. I am enjoying time with my family and friends and am back home at church. Attending chapel services is great, but not the same as a church home.
I boarded the plane and never looked back and I have not looked at any news about the war since I left. It may take me some time to come to terms with my experience, right now I am just glad to be home.
One thing I can say with certainty is that we in America take our blessings for granted. I hope and pray that I will never again sleep in a comfortable bed, or eat a warm meal and not be thankful.
Bless you all.
Back to Tennessee?
I'm hoping this means you are back in middle Tennessee. Last week my wife and I were doing something that must look like stomping out a fire to Rocky Top...I thought how peculiar this would look to foreigners. "Home sweet home to me."
So, have some country ham and biscuits and drive around the hills to view nature's best colors. Maybe you'll see a fat old man some time...

Back in MT
Yes, back in Middle Tennessee and celebrating all the tribal fun of our clan; like gathering in the thousands to watch a football game and eating lots of biscuits and sweet iced tea at Cracker Barrel.
Thanks!
