KASHMIR BUNGLED

Kashmir although acceded to India in 1948 is forcibly partly occupied by Pakistan the arch rival of India. In fact after independence, Pakistani tribals and regular army invaded portions of Kashmir and committed unpardonable crimes in the valley. Indian army fought tooth and nail and was about to recover entire areas in Kashmir from Pakistan when Jawaharlal Nehru the first PMi of India halted the war and refered the matter to UN. This was the most impolite step and the country is suffering till date due to the hasty and thoughtless decision of Nehru. This was the gretest blunder committed by Nehru. Although Nehru was a great leader and sacrificed his personal life for the nation, his thoughtless policy on Kashmir has let down the nation for ternal years to come Partition is the gift of Gandhi to India while Kashmir conflict is the gift of Nehru to India to erenally suffer. They also became immortal by these acts.The country has already fought four wars ( Including Kargil conflict) with Pakistan and the problem remains unresolved. Every time Indian army won and handed over the occupied areas to Pakistan ceremoniously, without resolving the issue. This is taken as the weakness of the nation. Pakistan is determined to break India again. Indians can only rattle sabres. But go about spineless preaching peace around the world while India is hammered by tghe terrorists left right and center. A great tragedy indeed......

Kashmir the crown jewel of India

Now is burning as funeral pyre

Lives are lost everyday in scores

While terrorists shoot and show their ire

The famous tourist lands of the valley

Are only desolate spots today

Mayhem, murder and loot are common

While scores of criminals are in the fray

Nehru the great leader was at the helm of affairs

And Kashmir was attacked by tribal and Pakistan's army men

Indian army fought with great vigor and valor

The atrocities committed by the raiders are unfit even for the pen

Tanks were airlifted to Zozila pass

And Army fought tooth and nail in this fight

Entire Kashmir was about to be taken back

And Nehru decided to halt the war as his personal right

Streams of blood of our soldiers have gone in vain

While great land of Kashmir remain in the hands of the foe

The Kashmir issue remained referred to United Nations

While Indian spirits crashed from head to the toe

Three wars have already been fought on this issue

And our men have fallen in the wars for the national cause

Terrorists have found a safe haven now in Kashmir

And the violence goes on without any pause

Natives Kashmiri Pundits are out in Delhi

Having taken brunt of the brutes

Nation watched with great dismay

Unable to change the ancient statutes

Lopsided policies of the rulers

Has pushed the state into disaster

Peace loving Kashmiri natives

Are down the drain due to our masters

India is seen as an impotent nation

Devoid of spirit and national will

Kashmiris are busy eating subsidized rations

While poor are paying for their past ills

Troops fought at Kargil with hands tied

While many were killed in the bloody battle

Lessons are not yet learnt by us

And people are treated as flocks of cattle

Lessons should be drawn from tiny Israel

Which Muslim nations are set to erase

The Indian nation lacks real guts

And are wooing the killers with warm embrace

Cranky policies have ruined our state

Where innocent people are fleeing the land

Wisdom is yet to dawn on our leaders

Else Kashmir would be lost while we play our band

Scores are killed by militants day and night

While those in power are taking things light

It is high time for the leaders tio see the light

And engage the militants in deadly fight

Gandhian thoughts no more hold in this land

Where terrorists create arson and killing

It is foolish to preach to the blockheads

And allow the army to kill to their filling

Some cranks want to Islamise the whole world

Who live in world of fools paradise

Actions in Kashmir are abetted by these evils

Who are committing crime in militants disguise

It is high time they are crushed with iron hand

And show that Indians means business

Pep talk by the leaders is a foolish effort

Who have bungled Kashmir in to a big mess
