A THREAD TO HANG ON ATLEAST NOW… TERRORIST LINK

Terrorism has taken deep roots in India. Thanks to the vacillating practice of pseudo secularism in India right from the days of partition of sub continent in 1947. Terrorists have been striking regularly at different places with impunity in India killing scores of innocents. As per the study, India stands at the top of list of terrorist attacks   and stands above Iraq and Israel combined  (1).  The targets in India have been crowded market places, parks, temples, eating joints and mosques where people congregate in large numbers   to spend time either in devotion or for pleasure seeking.  Many times, such sites have turned into blood soaked centers where people have lost lives and limbs.  Mothers have lost children, husbands lost wives and wives lost husbands in such mindless acts.....

INDIA AND TERRORISM…. WHAT LACKS HERE?

For the last twenty years India is plagued by Terrorism in J and K. Scores of Muslim fundamentalists out fits a have surfaced in India and these are abetting another partition of India. The appeasement policies in India have done great damage to the nation. Muslims in India feel that they have special status as citizens and are now even demanding special reservations in jobs and education. Indian justice is highly delayed. It is unable to even hang the anti nationals after awarding death sentence. India has failed to curb terrorism and its lack luster policies on this issue and policy of appeasement of  a section of its citizens is the main cause for growth of Terrorism. It has no fixed policy of firmness and is vacillating while dealing with the enemies of the country.

Call for post-cyclone relief for Bangladesh

Syndicated from: ProgressiveIslam.Org - Sheep are for `Eid on Wed, 11/28/2007 - 04:25

For those of you who haven’t heard, Bangladesh was struck by Cyclone Sidr earlier this month. Thanks to a very efficient pre-storm warning and evacuation system, the confirmed death toll so far is around 3500; previous cyclones in the 70’s and 80’s each killed hundreds of thousands.
However, even though the immediate death toll was minimized, tens of thousands have lost their homes, beds and clothing just as winter is beginning. Hundreds of thousands have also lost their crops and livestock, upon which their income for the next several months depended.

Bangladesh in Network of Global Terrorism

Of late, the outlawed terrorist and militant organizations in Bangladesh have become active with instability of political situation in Bangladesh. These are Harkat ul Jihad (HUJI) Hizbut Towhid, Jagrata Muslim Janata (JMJ), Muslim Guerilla Sangashta (MGS), Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). These are now active in southwest region of the country that are Kushthia, Mirpur,, Jenida, Jessore, Khulna, Narail and Satkhira provinces. These 12000 militants are invariably students from Madrasas (religious schools) where fundamentalists are bred in the name of religion. Police claim that they arrested 26 in Kushtia, in 2003, 35 in Jhenidah in 2004 and four in Satkhira recently. Most of the militants who went underground following crackdown on them after serial bomb blasts in August 17, 2005 have now resurfaced and become active. Police also claim that the situation is under control, but it is doubtful (5). These Militant outfits want the entire country turned into Talibanised (Bengali Version) State. They abet terrorism and are indulging in cross border terrorism and exporting terrorist activities into India. Young misguided Muslim youth from India are being trained in Bangladesh into these terrorist activities and are being sent to take up suicide missions. The suicide bomb explosion in Hyderabad at Special Police Headquarters in the city few years ago was engineered by Bangladeshi terrorists and one Home guard was killed in the action as most of the inmates were away being a holiday. The Bangla terrorist link is also suspected in the recent bomb blast in Mecca Maszid in Hyderabad. Nearly seven Muslims died while praying and another seven were shot dead in police firing to quell the rampaging mobs after the blast. Thus Bangladesh is actively involved in exporting Terrorism. It is also on the net work of AlQaeda organization.
