It was established on April 25, 1977 at Aligarh by Mohammed Ahnedullah Siddiqi. This organization has been knocking at the doors of courts in India to get the ban lifted to enable to continue its nefarious activities. . SIMI had 400 cadres and 20000 members when it was banned. It is believed that SIMI has entrenched itself in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Delhi. This organization has now spread throughout India and has attracted educated youth too at educational Institutions in all probabilities. They are identified with India- hate campaign and propagate that India was ruled by Muslims in the past and therefore is a Muslim land. They claim that it is under the occupation and rule of Hindus who are now in majority and therefore it needs to be made into Dar- Ul- Islam at all costs. They claim that as per the Holy Scripture Quran, conducting Jihad that is a rightful act and must liberate the lands belonging to Muslims that are under occupation more so because it was a pious religious activity sanctioned by the scripture (1). ..............

Blind faith in religions Hatred intolerance jihad terrorism ViolenceThe Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) was formed in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh state, in April 1977. SIMI's founding president was Mohammad Ahmadullah Siddiqi, reportedly professor of journalism and public relations at the Western Illinois University. SIMI originally emerged as a student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH). The stated mission of SIMI is the ‘liberation of India’ from western materialistic cultural influence and to convert it into an Islamic society. SIMI have been influenced by Deobandi Islam which is a Muslim revivalist movement that started in India in 1879. It is perhaps most famous in the west as the philosophy of the past Taliban government in Afghanistan. Its slogan is "Allah is our Lord, Qur’an is our constitution, Muhammad is our leader, Jihad is our way and Shahadah is our desire". Among its various objectives, SIMI aims to counter what it believes is the increasing moral degeneration, sexual anarchy in the Indian society as also the ‘insensitiveness’ of a ‘decadent’ west. SIMI maintains that the concepts of secularism, democracy and nationalism, keystones of the Indian Constitution, are antithetical to Islam. They aim to restore the supremacy of Islam through the resurrection of the Khilafat, emphasis on the Muslim Ummah and the waging of Jihad.

The consequent network of AlQaeda and its inspired terrorists has spread world wide with AlQaeda centers operating clandestinely in various countries.

Al Qaeda Declares Jihad On India

In a statement Abu Abdul Rahman Ansari who claimed to be the spokesperson of ’Al Qaeda Hind' warned all Mainstream and Separatist political organizations to stop deceiving the people of Kashmir.
“With the blessings of Almighty Allah we declare a Jihad against the Indian occupation in Kashmir, and we warn the all political and militant organizations operating in Kashmir, not to mislead Kashmiris”.

It is located in the Northern Caucasus Mountains, in the Southern Federal District. It borders Stavropol Krai to the northwest, the republic of Dagestan to the northeast and east, Georgia to the south, and the republics of Ingushetia and North Ossetia to the west. During the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Chechen-Ingush ASSR was split into the Republic of Ingushetia which wanted to remain part of Russia and the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria which sought independence. Following the bloody First Chechen War with Russia, which included a mass exodus of non-Chechen minorities, the republic gained a de facto sovereignty, although only the Afghan Taliban government recognized it in January 2000. Russian federal control was restored after the Second bloody Chechen War. Since then, there was a systematic reconstruction and rebuilding process, though unrest remains an issue (1). Scores of jihadi fighters were killed in this operation by Russian crack troops and Russian control was restored.

Iran the Democles Sword on Israel and US

Jews were greatly persecuted in Germany where scores of Jews were done to death in the concentration camps at the instructions of Adolph Hitler, the Fuhrer of Germany. At last, they found a place of their own in their holy land. However Muslims in Middle East view Jews as the occupants of their holy lands and are determined to destroy the State of Israel. Wars have been fought between the Arab States and Israel in 1948 (I st Palestine War), 1968 (six day war) and 1973(Yom Kippur war). There have been many smaller conflicts with neighbors such as Lebanon, Palestine Liberation Front and Syria. In all these wars, Israel has come out victorious. The State of Egypt that led most of the major assaults reconciled to the existence of Israel and signed a peace treaty with them after Yom Kippur war. This of course resulted in the assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat at the hands of fundamentalists. Jordan too has made peace agreements with Israel. Iraq that became powerful in the region under Saddam Hussein who was a staunch Israeli hater and during 1991 war, he even contemplated attacking Israel with chemical weapons that he used against Kurds. Iraqi aircraft had to fly over its neighbors Lebanon and Syria for dropping bombs on Israel (1). However, he developed cold feet and fired only Scud missiles with TNT explosives into Israel. Nuclear Bomb in the basement of Israel was the basic deterrent for the change of mind (2). The coalition forces led by US subdued Iraq that was a major threat to world peace and President Saddam Hussein was toppled who is now facing trial in Iraq. With elimination of Iraq as a threat to world peace and as a major force in Middle East, Iran has emerged as a major force and trouble maker in the region.

I am enjoying time with my family and friends and am back home at church. Attending chapel services is great, but not the same as a church home.
I boarded the plane and never looked back and I have not looked at any news about the war since I left. It may take me some time to come to terms with my experience, right now I am just glad to be home.
