How Do We Know When One Is Realized

We know that every one strives to attain realization of truth in the world (1). The aspect of realization and its nature have been dwelt differently in various religions. Can any one say that he has attained realization and truth? Divinity is not be declared by any one by himself. “The one who says ‘I have realized truth in fact has not realized any thing. It means, he has not shed his ego which is one of the fundamental requirements for attaining realization of truth. It is subjective, private and personal and not to be declared openly. Most of the mighty peers such as Lord Jesus, Ramakrishna (India) and Swami Vivekananda (India) and Ramana Maharshi (India) were not recognized fully in their own life time. Persecution of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) by the Meccan Arabs is well known who even planned to kill him and he had to escape to Medina (2). There were many criticisms, in fact, Jesus was greatly persecuted hated and was finally crucified. But, time has revealed his greatness. Similarly Buddha was persecuted in his life time (3). It is not possible for us to test some one whether he has attained realization of truth. Similarly a person also can not test his own accomplishment in his pursuit of realization. In fact, most of the great men such as Prophets were persecuted and hated during their life time and their greatness was realized only after their death after passing off of many years.
