Age of the Sage

From the About Page:

It happens that there is a close similarity in the spiritual insights that have been won within each of several major world religions. We at age-of-the-sage hope to show that the Insights of the Mystics can allow humanity to more directly identify and recognise spiritual truths that the worldly aspects of Human Nature may not readily appreciate. A more truly harmonious, "rounded and Human" life being Worldly in many ways but also being responsive to the claims of the Spirit.

This particular page continues with a list of these insights or spiritual truths shared among several of the world's mystic traditions.

World religious leaders and their precahings

Dear friends,

There is no doubt that all saints, philosophers, peers and enlightened men belonging to all religions  from different part of the world spoke in similar way and  they contained same meaning. One may take Holy Koran, Bible, Gita or any other scripture of Buddhists, Sikhs  or Parsis or Jains; Every  one of them highlight love, compassion, peace, patience, tolerance and all good aspects of neighborly behavior. But tragedy is that in spite of such sane teachings, human beings  are engulfed in mutual hatred and jealousy. Many  people are very affirmative and arrogant of their religion being superior to all and as long as people live in such darkness, light would not prevail on them.  It leads to hatred   and crime such as wars, burning of the scriptures and persecution and even killings. Such things have been  going on and although  people are much read and intelligent now , there is no change in their conduct and hatred towards others  continues. It is not that people  do not know these things. They are taken over by blind inspirations and misguidance by clergy  in all religions. this attitude  would continue and is unlikely to come down. God  has to show mercy on such people and show them right path.
