Guru Gobind Singh’s Birthday

Guru Gobind Singh is the tenth and last of the personal Sikh Gurus. He is known chiefly for his creation of the Khalsa (Punjabi: “the Pure”), the military brotherhood of the Sikhs. This date commemorates the day he was born in 1666.
