“Love your neighbor as yourself” is, in one form or another and from one religion to another, a consistent moral command. One way to love our neighbor of a different religious tradition is to know and acknowledge when their faith celebrates or commemorates, fasts or feasts; and also, why and how.
This religious holiday calendar can guide you to be a more sensitive and thoughtful neighbor. It may encourage you to do more study. Our hope is that by increasing awareness of the rich spiritual rhythms of others, we will broaden mutual respect and deepen friendships in the faith commons.
